Hello,
I need GUIs/pyrosetta_toolkit/ documentation from http://www.pyrosetta.org/documentation#TOC-1.-The-PyRosetta-Toolkit. However the linkage to this documentation is forbidden now. Can someone do me a favour to provide this documentation by email ? My email address is liuhui@qibebt.ac.cn
Thank you very much!
best wishes

Unfortunately, the Pyrosetta Toolkit was deprecated in newer version of PyRosetta. The original documentation can be found here: https://www.rosettacommons.org/docs/latest/scripting_documentation/PyRosetta/PyRosetta-Toolkit-GU

Thank you for your reply!
The PyRosetta Toolkit is very important for the person with little or no computational experience. Why was the Pyrosetta Toolkit deprecated?
This is the same forbidden link that I mentioned above.

Odd. That link should work. It works for me in Safari, and is the user-facing docs. I wrote the toolkit, and, unfortunately – it was beyond my control when the community moved from PyRosetta-3 to PyRosetta-4. I still have the code for it, but will need to spend some time porting and testing it, and at the same time porting it from python-2 to python-3. If you want to use it, I can try to see what I can do in terms of porting it over the next few weeks. With some of the new PyRosetta-distributed code, I could even add stuff that would allow a lot of the code to run on a server.
The other reason I havn’t ported it besides not having the time to do so, is that there is an effort to use modern C++ to create a Rosetta GUI – this effort has been progressing steadily over the past few years and will be pretty incredible when it happens. There is also now the ROSIE interface to Rosetta as well as Cyrus.

Hi,
That link does not work for me in both IE and chrome. I really appreciate your efforts in this important toolkit. If you could spend some time to update it, we all will be be benefited. Thanks!
best wishes
