Research Summary
Design of binders and modulators in all-atom resolution by developing ML-based methods
Research Description
The goal of my group is to develop AI-based methodologies for using protein design in the study of epigenetics. With the revolution in protein design, we aim to leverage advancements in this field to create de novo protein-based tools that can target and modulate chemical modifications of peptides and nucleic acids. Our longer-term goal is to investigate the crosstalk between different regulatory mechanisms in cells, focusing on epigenetic changes and metabolism, and to develop next-generation therapeutics based on custom-designed proteins.
