Which gcc and ubuntu/debian are the changes for? Reasonable changes I can just commit to trunk for 3.3. The code in core/conformation/symmetry/util.cc has already been overhauled somehow (so those ifdefs, which make no sense anyway, aren’t there.)
Does this scheme actually shift Rosetta to compiling with a different GCC?
Were you aware that the root cause of some of the GCC incompatibilities was found out to be the inlining limits (-finline-limit, I think)? I’m not sure if that’s relevant here. I can find the thread again.
