I develop methods for membrane protein modeling, also with the use of NMR restraints.

I am primarily a method developer for membrane protein modeling tools, also in conjunction with NMR restraints. One goal is to enable a better understanding of membrane protein structure, function, and interaction with other proteins or small molecules. Another broader goal is to gain a more detailed understanding of the sequence-structure-function paradigm that we also investigated on the microbial universe. Additionally, I am a strong supporter of the Rosetta community and much of my work is based in teaching scientists how to develop high-quality software code and how to get the support they need.
