Research Summary
Protein engineering applied to synthetic biology
Research Description
Our group works at the interface of computational protein design and synthetic biology to engineerchimeric proteins and microbes with applications in biomanufacturing, bioremediation and diagnostics.We are interested in design of allosteric biosensors, and protein modules with novel properties such as catalytic activity or binding to a ligand or an antigen.
