Development and application of methods for the modeling of membrane proteins important for human health.
Research Description
The work in Gulsevin Lab. focuses on computational modeling of proteins involved in human health by incorporating experimental and genomic data into our computational analyses. We investigate how proteins, particularly membrane proteins, interact with their peptide and small molecule partners. Our work combines existing structural biology applications and methods developed in our group to explain how changes in structure and interactions of proteins affect human health.
