Research Summary
We design new membrane proteins for novel applications in environmental sustainability and functional proteins for next-generation therapeutics.
Research Description
Our primary goal in de novo design is to test and refine our understanding of protein structure and function. We push the boundaries of protein design to dissect the fundamental principles of molecular recognition in membrane transport and immune responses, enabling the rational design of new, functional proteins.
