I recently learned about a new Rosetta module for scoring hydrogen bond networks as part of protein design called HBNet. I was interested in trying out this module but I’m not sure how to use it. Recently I compiled one of the weekly releases of Rosetta3.5 so I think we have the most up-to-date software. HBNet is a RosettaScripts module I believe but I was wondering if someone could provide a sample XML script that I could play around with if it is not too much trouble. Thank you for your assistance!

The most recent release should be the week 30 weekly release: the weekly releases are as stable as the 3.x releases (I don’t release them if they aren’t).

I’ve contacted the developer of the hbnet code to query if it’s released or not, and maybe get a script.

            Scott says:

“HBNet is not in master yet, but I aim to have it in there very soon. Once it’s released, I’ll be more than happy to provide example scripts. If they are part of git Rosetta, they can checkout my branch (sboyken/hbnet) and I’d be happy to email with them to get them up and running.”

(By “git Rosetta”, he is referring to developer access, which I infer you do not have.)

Okay, thanks for your help! I guess I can wait until it is released in the master version since this isn’t urgent. I don’t think we have access to the git repository but it seems that it would be better to wait for it to be released in the master anyway so the code will be official. Should I look for a weekly release of Rosetta or the next major official release?
