        HI,
        I am a beginner ..Have absolutely no clue about using Rosetta.
        Could someone guide me on installing the software on windows. I unzipped the 2.2.0 package, also downloaded the VC 2005 and Make program but still unable to start it!

          Answer from another beginner: you need to build it first (although I don’t have windows)

          VC2005 Compile processes
          run version.bat [ v2.2.0 ]
          Load the rosetta project with rosetta++.vcproj
          Select build type: Release
          File>Open>Project/Solution>find the rosetta++.vcproj
          Build>Build rosetta++

          Run rosetta under windows
          Run rosetta in the friendly V-studio interface:
          Project>properties>Debugging>Command Arguments add your run

            If you have VC 2005 installed on your computer. Load the rosetta project with rosetta++.vcproj
            Select build type: Release, File>Open>Project/Solution>find the rosetta++.vcproj
            Build>Build rosetta++

            Check README.VC2005.BuildExample in rosetta documents for details and the instruction of running rosetta on windows.
